Buying a tailor made suit from Norton & Townsend is simple because we’ll visit you in the comfort of your home or at the office, choosing your suit can be fitted in around your busy schedule. Our bespoke tailoring service couldn’t be easier and we’ll begin by arranging a 30 minute appointment at which you’ll select a suit style, fabric and trim. Our London tailors are all highly experienced and your tailor will take detailed measurements and notes on your body type and posture.
We offer our clients a choice of over 5000 beautiful fabrics and with such a wide range to choose from, we know that this part of the process can seem a little daunting! Whether you know exactly what you’re looking for, or whether you need a little advice, your tailor will be on hand to offer suggestions on the most suitable fabric and lining. Our fabric collection includes plain, striped and checked fabrics made from luxurious wools or cool crisp cotton and linen. if you can’t find what you had in mind, we’ll work hard to source the perfect fabric for you.
Once you found the perfect fabric and selected a style, we’ll help you choose those little extras that will make your made to measure suit unique such as the number of vents and buttons, lapels or style of pocket.
Our skilled pattern cutters will create a unique pattern for you and work can then begin on your suit in our workrooms . A hand-finished tailor made suit takes around six weeks to complete and once your suit is ready, your tailor will arrange a delivery fitting. We’re not happy unless you’re 100% satisfied with the fit and quality of your suit and so if any alterations are required, we’ll carry them out as quickly as possible.
