Here at Norton & Townsend it’s our aim to make choosing and ordering bespoke wedding tailoring as simple and hassle free as possible. If you’re looking for a perfect fit combined with unique style then bespoke tailoring is the only option. We offer free consultations and your style journey begins when you book an appointment with one of our London tailoring team. We’ll visit you at a time and in a location which works for you. During this initial consultation appointment we’ll talk through the design options available and remember that getting married doesn’t mean you have to wear a traditional morning suit. There’s a huge range of choice out there and whether you want to wear a lounge suit, tuxedo or something traditional and formal, it’s entirely up to you.
You’ll be given a choice of literally thousands of high quality tailoring fabrics, including a wide range of linings, buttons and trims. This is where you get to put your own personal style stamp on your wedding suit and by choosing unique touches such as an embroidered message on your undercollar or coordinating ties or cravats, the choices are endless. We know that such a huge choice can be daunting though so your highly experienced tailor will guide you through the choices available, helping you create a unique wedding suit you’ll love wearing.
From this point onwards it’s time for our team of talented pattern cutters and seamstresses to take over. They’ll take your unique measurements and translate them into a pattern template before starting work on the skilled art of transforming cloth into a wedding suit. This point usually takes around 6 – 8 weeks depending on your chosen style, fabric and extra touches.
Last and by no means least comes the final fitting appointment. It’s important to stress that we’re not happy unless you’re 100% happy so we’ll make any alterations necessary until you’re completely satisfied.
