We are a team of highly skilled travelling tailors, with many years of experience in making bespoke wedding suits. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without having to worry about what to wear. Our tailors have dressed hundreds of grooms over the years and it’s our aim to make choosing, ordering and buying a bespoke wedding suit as simple and enjoyable as possible.
To make things as easy as possible for you, we’re happy to visit you at home or the office – whichever is most convenient. During your initial consultation appointment, your tailor will talk through the options available for your wedding suit. Bespoke suits are – literally – a cut above the rest and you’ll have the chance to go for something traditional or unique: it’s entirely up to you.
From morning suits and lounge suits, through to dinner suits or something casual, choosing what to wear at your wedding is a personal choice. When done properly, a morning suit is the perfect outfit for a traditional wedding, whilst a lounge suit is smart but slightly less formal. Wearing a tuxedo offers a more modern approach which sits somewhere between the formality of a morning suit, and the comparatively relaxed look of a lounge suit. The choice can seem daunting but your tailor will work closely with you to help you choose a look which perfectly reflects your own unique sense of style.
Once you’ve talked through style options, your tailor will take numerous measurements whilst also taking into account your body shape and gait. You’ll then be offered a choice of thousands of fabrics, including luxurious pure wools and cashmere, through to wool blends, silk and more. Again, your personal tailor will be on hand to help you choose the perfect fabric for your chosen style. In addition, you’ll also have the chance to add unique touches such as button formations, a lining to complement the wedding theme or an embroidered message on your undercollar…the choice is endless.
At this point it’s time for our team of pattern cutters and seamstresses to take over. They’ll translate your measurements into card pattern templates, cutting the fabric and then creating your unique wedding suit. Once your suit is almost finished we’ll get in touch to arrange a final fitting appointment. We’re only happy unless you’re 100% and if necessary we’ll make any alterations to ensure a perfect fit.
