We believe that the process of choosing, fitting and ordering a bespoke suit should be as simple and fuss-free as possible. We have a team of travelling tailors in Edinburgh who will visit you at your home or office; whichever is the most convenient for you. Your tailor will discuss the options available, talking through fabrics and style details to help you choose the perfect suit.
Once you’ve decided on a style, your tailor will take numerous measurements, whilst also paying close attention to your posture, body shape and gait. This is one of the most important stages in the process; your suit will be unique and made to fit you perfectly, so it’s very important we get the measurements just right.
The next step will be for you to choose the perfect fabric and lining for your suit. We offer our clients a huge choice of thousands of superb quality fabrics, ranging from luxurious pure wools, cashmere and silk blends, through to cool, crisp linen, cotton and more. Our choice of linings includes vibrant colours and eye-catching patterned fabrics, through to classically elegant muted shades. We know that choosing from a huge range can be daunting, however your tailor will be on hand to help you select the best fabrics to suit you and your chosen style of suit.
At this point it’s time for our team of skilled pattern cutters and tailors to take over. They’ll take your measurements and translate them into a card pattern template which can be used again and again – provide your measurements don’t alter too much! It usually takes around 6 – 8 weeks to create a made to measure suit, so once yours is almost finished, we’ll be in touch to arrange a final fitting appointment.
