At Norton & Townsend, we offer a bespoke tailoring service in Cardiff, designed to make choosing and ordering made-to-measure menswear as simple and convenient as possible. One of our experienced tailoring team will visit you at home or the office – whichever is most convenient for you – to take your measurements and help you select a design.
Unlike off-the-peg menswear, bespoke tailoring is made to suit the individual wearer. Your tailor will not only take numerous measurements but will also pay close consideration to your body shape, gait and posture. This attention to detail is the only way to guarantee a garment that’s made to fit you and only you, whilst ensuring you look and feel like a million dollars!
Once measurements are complete, your Norton & Townsend tailor will help you choose a style of suit, coat, jacket or shirt. You’ll also be able to select they perfect fabric from a huge range of superb quality options, along with your choice of buttons, trim, pocket style, collar, lapel…the choice is almost endless.
After measurements have been taken, and you’ve chosen your design and fabric, it’s time for our team of talented pattern cutters and seamstresses to take over. They’ll transform your fabric into the finished garment, and this is a process which usually takes around 6 – 8 weeks, depending on the style of garment and fabric.
Once your garment is finished, we’ll be in touch to arrange a final fitting. We’re not happy unless you’re 100% happy and if any minor alterations are required, we’ll carry these out as quickly as possible.
