At Norton & Townsend we have a team of highly experienced travelling tailors providing bespoke tailoring services to clients in Cheltenham, Gloucester and throughout the South West of England. Whether you’re looking for something incredible to wear on your wedding day or special event, or want to feel confident and stylish at work, our hand finished suits are convenient to order and available at great prices.
It’s our aim to make ordering and buying bespoke menswear as simple and fuss-free as possible. One of our tailors will visit you in your home or at the office – wherever is most convenient for you. Choosing your new suit can be fitted in around your busy schedule and the process begins with a 30 minute appointment. During this initial appointment, you’ll be able to choose a style of suit, fabric and trim.
We create a huge range of suit styles for our clients from dinner suits and formal wear, through to morning suits, wedding suits and casual tailoring, including countrywear. The choice is yours and whether you’re looking for something classically elegant or want to go a little off-piste, your Norton & Townsend tailor will be on hand to guide you through the choices available.
Once detailed measurements have been taken and you’ve chosen your style, you’ll be offered a choice of over 5000 beautiful fabrics. Choosing from such a huge range can be intimidating, especially if you’re new to bespoke tailoring, so once again your tailor will help you select the best fabric for your chosen design.
Next comes those all-important extras which help to make a bespoke suit completely unique; from the number of buttons and vents, to lapels and style of pocket, choosing your own options will ensure your new suit reflects your individual sense of style.
A hand-finished suit takes around six weeks to complete and once you’ve chosen your design, fabric and trim, our pattern cutters and seamstresses will get to work. Once your suit is almost ready, we’ll arrange a final fitting appointment. We’re only happy unless you’re 100%, so if any alterations need to be made, we’ll carry these out as quickly as possible.
