Because of this, Cheltenham Racecourse has commissioned it’s very own tweed which is dark green in colour, with darker green and gold undertones running through it. This special pattern is made from 100% wool and designed by us and woven in Bradford just a few miles from our head office in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.

The new tweed design is being launched ahead of  The Open at Cheltenham Racecourse which starts this Friday on the 15th November 2013.

Rachel Wyse, one of the Ambassadors of the season of Cheltenham has been photographed in the Cheltenham Tweed coat and commented that Norton and Townsend have created a design which is “really smart and chic, with the different greens and gold…it’s not too busy”.

The new tweed is available to buy in ladies coats and an array of men’s garments including suits, Jackets, waistcoats,  trousers and much more to be tailor-made by Norton and Townsend, showing again that we are at the forefront of British tailoring.
