A lighter shade of grey

A slim-fitting grey cotton or linen suit is a must have in summer tailoring. 2014 sees the introduction of a lighter grey than in recent years.
For inspiration here is a slim fit, six-button, double breasted jacket with a peak lapel which works perfectly with matching slim trousers for summer weddings.

Stylish Separates

Tailored separates are making a comeback for Spring Summer 2014 and the dress code is slightly more casual in and out of office tailoring.
You may be forgiven for thinking a navy blazer and grey trouser combination can look a little too ‘prep school’, but opting for a contemporary cut blazer and adding well thought out accessories such as a semi-contrasting silk pocket square or skinnier woven silk tie is a lot more dapper than dunce.
James Marsden does exactly this complementing his navy blue single-button jacket (shawl collar), with grey trousers and a tie which picks up the same grey hue.
