This week all eyes turned to LA for the glitziest night in television, the Emmy awards. Focus is always on what the women are wearing but now fashion is making way for the new breed of the fashion conscious male. Here are some of our favourite looks from the Emmys.

Neil Patrick Harris, the host of the awards, opted to mix and match some suit separates to create this look, the burgundy evening jacket with a contrast peak lapel added character and elegance to this look. Paired with a charcoal grey wool twill trouser, waistcoat white crisp tab collar shirt, and accessorised with a wool charcoal stripe tie keeping it modern and graceful evening look.

Ty Burrell daringly wore a charcoal double-breasted tuxedo and fortunately for him it paid off! Ty updated this classic double breasted by adding a contrast grosgrain peak lapel and pairing the wool jacket with a tuxedo trouser keeping it appropriate for the dress code. Accessorising the suit with a definitive black bow tie and cotton pocket square complimenting this updated take on a classic suit.

Derek Hough stood out in this wine red velvet evening jacket. Playing with rich textures to add luxury and elegance to this suit separate. The peak lapel kept the look formal and teamed with the black trouser to compliment and focus all the attention on the stand out jacket.
